~It’s so real but it’s in my mind~

I’ve been dreaming of Lucy every night for a few months now. Four to be exact. That’s how long it’s been since she died.
“Oi Roy, pay attention damn it.”
“Sorry Noah” I apologised. The two of us had become really good friends. I think both of us really needed someone to hang out with since Lucy’d gone. Sure  Leo and Sam offered to hang with me more often but I don’t want to be a third wheel.
“Do you still dream of her?” Noah asked. It was an unspoken agreement between us not to say her name out loud, but we didn’t need to anyway. It was always obvious who we were talking about.
“All the time” I replied, he nodded and played with his ring absently.
“My dreams stopped last week,” Noah said, both of us dreamed of Lucy after she died, lucky for Noah his were of more pleasant days. Mine were always of the accident. “do you think it’s because I’ve let go?”
“Maybe.” I shrugged “Maybe it’s because you know in your heart that anything you did to her would’ve been forgiven by now.” I suggested.
“I think you’re right, I have no more regrets.” Noah replied. “I cherish every moment I had with Lucy,” he smiled.
“Lucky.” I replied
“It’ll all turn out okay Roy,” Noah said, knowing exactly why he was the lucky one of the two of us. “If it helps any, I’ve forgiven you.”
“I’m not sure about that Noah, but thanks” I grinned gratfully. Noah was a good friend, I hope I never do something stupid to ruin that.

It’s been four months.
I find it interesting how I’m yet to see silver again. I wonder what happened, it’s not like his girlfriend knew about us.
Then again, he’d be dumb enough to tell her.
I’ll have to investigate to see what happened. Normally I would tell dumb and dumber where I was going, but it’s really not worth the effort.
I got up and began walking away, down to the spot where silver and I used to meet. Maybe he was there waiting for me?
“Rosa, where you going y’know?” dumber called after me. Why is it I hang out with these two exactly?
“Leave her, she’s going to do something important to her” James said to him. Ah, that’s right, because James knows me so well, I don’t need to say anything at all. Dumber just happens to hang around him too.
I took my usual route to the park. Through the town, out past the graveyard and to the beach.
I glanced out into the graveyard, when I walked past. Sometimes there was someone there, visiting a relative or a friend.
To my surprise I saw Roy there. I stopped in my tracks and watched him. He laid down a bunch of roses and ate some ice cream while talking to the gravestone. I couldn’t make out what he was saying but I didn’t want to disturb him. By the looks of it, he wouldn’t want me there either.
I turned around and went back to my friends.

“Xander,” Elliot started, she wasn’t quite sure how she was going to say it, “It’s my birthday on Sadurday,” Xander gave her a look that caught her completely off guard causing her to trail off, “And I was wondering if you wanded do come for dinner” she managed to splutter. Once again Xander laughed at her.
“Of course I’ll come for dinner, don’t be silly” he ruffled her hair affectionately. And continued to laugh
Satisfied, Elliot regained her confidence. Her best friend Xander Colliver would be at her sixteenth birthday.

Admiral Shazi has suffered a break down and I have assumed command of the ship until further notice.
The tension on the ship is increasing daily and there is a Twilitian convention that begins tomorrow. I think to raise spirits we need a much deserved win, also we need to destroy the hord before the Twilitian collective has a chance to assimilate them.

The Girl In My Head – Tuesday Afternoon

Cody and Dylan had settled and Cody made dinner for the two. Both were camped on the couch, waiting for something interesting to come onto the TV.
“Man you have this whole house to yourself?” Dylan asked.
“For a week or so yeah,” Cody shrugged. Dylan nodded in approval.
“You’re a good kid, not throwing any random parties while your folks are gone.” He laughed. “You’re nothing like me,”

Again, Cody’s day at school was a blur. Sam chatted and prattled on, teachers did mostly the same. Cody thought more about Dylan than anything else. He was so nice, despite being the type that would normally beat Cody up.

“Hey Cody, where were you this morning?” Sam asked. They were walking home together like always.

“I got lost.” Cody replied with a blush. “A guy named Dylan led me to school.”

“Thats good,” Sam smiled. “You need to be more careful.” She scolded lightly.

“I will,” Cody chuckled.
