What are you currently working on?
Currently I am working on 2 projects, Red Tear Drop and finishing up the second draft of Aishod. Aishod is the result of 3 years of attempted NaNoWriMo’s and a lot of planning and developing charaters. Red Tear Drop is not going to be the final title of the story but it is also a story that has undergone a lot of planning, a lot of development and has sat to the side for a long time for other projects, ideas and life in general.
How does your work differ from others in it’s genre?
The idea’s are my own, the characters are extensions of myself and I love them equally. This may not make my work different, but it makes it mine.
Why do you write what you do?
I write what I love, I love fantasy, I love comedy, I love Sci-fi. I love to take my passions and tell stories, I have ideas for all of these genre’s and I love to write them. I said love a lot, so I’d like to mention that I love sweet romance as well. Writing and telling stories is something I love and I love to share it with others, if people don’t like to read my stories than that is fine, no one ever said you had to.
How does your writing process work?
Recently I have been taking characters I made a LONG time ago, and creating a world for them to live in and adventure in. Normally this is the process I would take, I would spent time creating some characters, and then I would create the world around them. The world your characters live in should make sense to their abilities as much as the characters make sense to live there, the two should be harmonious so neither one seems out of place. Once I have established those I begin to work on the plot, I plan out MOST of the story, main plot points, events and relationship changes and of course, the ending. From there I begin to write, and fill in the gaps until the story is finished.
I don’t know many writers, but I would like to forward you on to Talena Mae who I haven’t seen for some time, but would like to forward people to her work anyway.
